Cinnamon Bay, US Virgin Islands
Cinnamon Bay is a unique beach, even to St. John. Though all beaches on St. John have stunning views and soft sand, Cinnamon Bay also boasts a large array of amenities and is located only 4 miles from Cruz Bay. At Cinnamon Bay is a campground with tents for rent, bungalows, as well as a public bathroom and showers. There is an on-site restaurant T'ree Lizards and a convenient store in case you have forgotten anything or need a small snack without having to go back to Cruz Bay.
If you rent a jeep or car there is no need to worry about where to leave it as there is a large parking lot. If you did not rent a vehicle, there are also taxis readily available. The beach at Cinnamon is one of the largest. You will see sunbathers or people playing volleyball, but Cinnamon also offers water sport rentals right on the waterfront. The rentals include Kayaks, Snorkel Gear (Fins, Mask, and Snorkel), and Windsurfing.
